1. Introduction of Wire Swan Statue
This sculpture series uses swans as its base, constructed entirely of stainless steel wire and a mesh structure. The swans’ long necks, full bodies, and layered wings are sculpted through a hollowed-out weave. The Wire Swan Statues utilize interlaced metal lines to create outlines, resulting in a lighter and more transparent overall visual effect. The curves of the swans’ heads, beaks, and necks are relatively simple, while the denser mesh structure in the body areas maintains stability and clearly presents the basic avian form.
Different sculptures are designed in both folded and outstretched wing poses. The outstretched wing pose uses continuous, curved lines to depict the layers of feathers, giving the wings a strong sense of spread and decorative appeal. When placed in pairs, the two swans face each other, creating a more complete landscape composition.
