1. Introduction of Salome Bronze Statue
Salome is based on the New Testament story related to the death of John the Baptist. She is often depicted as the daughter of Herodias, who danced to please King Herod at a banquet and, influenced by her mother, demanded the head of John the Baptist. This Salome Bronze Statue, Josef Lorenzl’s Salome, is a Viennese Art Deco piece from the 1920s.
The figure leans back sharply, her waist forming an arc, her arms raised and gripping a curved sword. One foot is firmly planted, the other lightly touching the toes, as if displaying a weapon in a dance. The Salome Sculpture is made of bronze, with detailed depictions of the breastplate, headdress, necklace, and anklets. The black marble base enhances the theatrical feel of the figure. | Step 6: Patina and wax surface | We will paint the color as the image the customer sent, then make wax surface. When finished statue, also I will take photos for your reference. After you are satisfied with all, I will arrange packing and shipment. |
