1. Introduction of Salambo Statue
Salambo, often spelled Salammbô, is a fictional female character in the historical novel Salammbô, published in 1862 by French author Gustave Flaubert. The novel is set in Carthage after the First Punic War, and its inspiration comes partly from the “Mercenary Wars” described in ancient texts by Greek historians such as Polybius. This Salambo Statue, crafted from bronze, depicts a woman with arms raised high. The figure is slender, upright, and her head is slightly tilted back, as if in a moment of prayer, ritual, or invocation.
The gold finish enhances its Art Deco character, while the rings on the headdress, wrists, and ankles add a touch of classical and exotic style. | Step 5: Repair, welding & Chasing | We will repair the hole of statue, then welding and chasing, which is the key step to make fine high quality statue. |
| Step 6: Patina and wax surface | We will paint the color as the image the customer sent, then make wax surface. When finished statue, also I will take photos for your reference. After you are satisfied with all, I will arrange packing and shipment. |
