1.Introduction of the swan fountain
The swan fountain is very beautiful. The Amazing Black Swan sculpture of Western Australia stands on the annual citizen lake, capturing the spirit and life of the precious Swan in the state. The fountain put into use in september1988. It depicts five bronze swans rising solemnly from their nests in the middle of the lake. It cast in bronze and 9 meters away from the water, was designed as the main landmark of Perth in recognition of the citizen of the year award. Designed by artists Charlie and Joansmith, the sculpture aims to express the “local spirit” and a certain universal quality, including the whole concept of place, time and art.
This bronze swan water fountain is cast by the traditional wax losing method. The traditional hand polished bronze finish highlights extremely fine details. The Swan flying action and the fountain spray are properly integrated to show the beautiful visual effect of the garden fountain.
