1. Introduction of Statue Trajan
Trajan, one of the second of the “Five Good Emperors” of the Roman Empire, reigned from 98 to 117 AD. Born into a provincial noble family, he was the first Roman emperor not born in Italy. His reign was characterized by a balance of external expansion and administrative reform, leading to the Roman Empire reaching its greatest extent in history. Trajan also emphasized infrastructure development and urban management, overseeing the construction of numerous roads, bridges, and public works projects. His reign is considered a period in Roman history marked by both institutional maturity and military-political efficiency. This Statue Trajan is a full standing figure, with a tall and stable posture.
The head has short hair that fits snugly, and the face is beardless with clean lines. The figure in the Trajan Sculpture wears Roman military attire with a clearly defined breastplate, and a segmented skirt that blends seamlessly with the legs. A cloak draped over the shoulders falls from behind to the back and one leg, with clearly defined folds.
