1. Introduction of Statue of Persephone and Hades

Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1598–1680) is one of the greatest sculptors of the Italian Baroque period, known for his extraordinary carving skills and strong emotional expression. He is good at using dynamic composition and complex structure to give life and tension to stone. Bernini created a large number of religious and mythological sculptures for Rome throughout his life.
