Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is one of the most important Bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism, usually most closely associated with “practice and vows.” His Sanskrit name, Samantabhadra, means “universally virtuous” or “universally auspicious.” In Buddhist tradition, Samantabhadra emphasizes putting wisdom into action, and thus often appears alongside Manjushri Bodhisattva: Manjushri symbolizes wisdom, while Samantabhadra symbolizes practice and vows. This Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Statue depicts Samantabhadra riding a white elephant, made entirely of bronze, with polychrome and gold embellishments on the figure and mount.
Samantabhadra wears a golden crown and an orange-yellow robe with blue-green ribbons draped over his shoulders. The edges of his robe and trousers are decorated with intricate patterns. He sits cross-legged on a lotus throne, his right hand raised in a Buddhist mudra, his left palm facing upward in front of him. Below, the white elephant is massive, its trunk curving forward, its head and body adorned with decorative accessories, and supported at the base by auspicious green, blue, and red clouds. This Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Statue is suitable for use in temples, Buddhist halls, religious and cultural spaces, or Buddhist art displays. It can also be displayed in pairs with Manjushri Bodhisattva sculptures. Arturban Statue can customize various buddha statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
