This sculpture is inspired by the famous French classical artwork “Marly Horse Statue,” originally created by the 18th-century French sculptor Guillaume Coustou the Elder. It is one of the most representative animal sculptures of the late European Baroque period. Originally created to decorate the French royal gardens, the Marly Horse Sculpture symbolizes strength, courage, and humanity’s ability to control nature.
From its appearance, this bronze sculpture vividly depicts the moment a young horse trainer struggles to control a leaping steed. The horse, head held high and neighing, forelegs off the ground, mane flying, and muscles full and powerful, is depicted. The figure, with arms gripping the reins, leans back, maintaining a steady posture in confrontation with the spirited horse. The overall composition of the sculpture is dynamic, creating an elegant yet tense visual balance between the figure and the horse. The Marly Horse Sculpture possesses a strong classical artistic feel and is suitable as a decorative and collectible piece for courtyards, estates, or art spaces. Arturban Statue can customize various horse statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
