1.Introduction of kneeling woman sculpture

A kneeling woman sculpture made of steel plate appeared and disappeared in front of the audience. This work, located in the Physics and Nanotechnology Building of the University of Minnesota, is the work of Julian Voss Andrae, a quantum physicist and experimental physicist who later graduated from the art major. However, Voss Andrae sculpture is nothing new. It was called “Spanungsfeld” and opened in 2014 in the New Physics and Nanotechnology Building of the University of Minnesota. It is a design composed of two characters (a man and a woman), who kneel face to face on the ground, inspired by the view of human body through the lens of quantum physics.

This Julian Voss Andreae Sculpture for Sale is called the disappearing sculpture. From the side, the whole sculpture looks very solid and concrete. It is composed of stainless steel plates of different sizes. When you are perpendicular to the angle of view of the stainless steel plate, you will find that the edge of the stainless steel plate is as beautiful as wavy. However, when you move while appreciating, it becomes more and more blurred. You can see the gap between the metal pieces, and finally make the sculpture invisible in the surrounding environment. This modern sculpture can not only be used as outdoor decorative art, but also attract people’s attention.
