This Greek Hoplite Statue is modeled after the ancient Greek hoplites, emphasizing discipline, defense, and the core spirit of formation warfare. The figure in the Hoplite Sculpture wears a typical Greek helmet, with the forehead and nose shield integrated into one piece, enhancing protection and giving the face a serious and restrained expression. The helmet’s plume extends upwards.
The warrior holds a large, round shield (Aspis) in his left arm, its proportions heavy and its edge clearly decorated; his right hand holds a spear. The overall stance is stable, with legs spread apart to support the center of gravity. The muscles of the torso are realistically and restrained. The cloak falls naturally from the shoulders and spreads with movement, creating a contrast between movement and stillness with the taut limbs. The sculpture’s surface has an antique bronze finish, using varying shades of bronze to distinguish between metal, skin, and fabric.
This hoplite sculpture recreates the typical image of the ancient Greek infantry and is suitable for use in historical theme courtyards, cultural landscapes, or art exhibition spaces. Arturban Statue can customize various greek and roman statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
