This set of bronze lion sculptures is modeled after the traditional Chinese guardian lion and is often placed in pairs on either side of a building entrance. Both lions in the Foo Dogs for Front Door are seated, with broad heads, prominent foreheads, wide-open eyes, and open mouths revealing sharp teeth, presenting a majestic guardian posture. Their heads and necks are covered with layers of curly mane, each tuft of hair engraved with intricate spiral patterns. They wear decorative collars with relief patterns on their chests, with animal heads and bells hanging from the center. The male lion’s forepaws rest on an embroidered ball covered with scale-like patterns, symbolizing authority and power; the female lion’s forepaws are accompanied by a cub, symbolizing family protection and the continuation of offspring.
This set of Foo Dogs for Front Door is cast in bronze. The lions have broad chests, strong and powerful forelimbs, and clearly defined phalanges and claws. The mane on their backs and the outline of their bodies have distinct three-dimensional layers. Each Bronze Foo Dog Statue rests on a rectangular flat base for symmetrical installation on either side of the building entrance. This set of bronze lions is suitable for use in private residences, manor entrances, hotel lobbies, temples, and cultural buildings. Arturban Statue can customize various lion statues.
