1. Introduction of bronze Elk Panel statue
Rocky Mountain elk (Cervus canadensis nelsoni) is one of the largest deer species in North America, mainly distributed in the Rocky Mountains, including Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming in the United States. Compared with other subspecies, Rocky Mountain elk is taller and the male antlers are luxuriant, often used for courtship and to show off and defend against competitors. This “Bronze Elk Panel” is a bronze relief work that depicts the natural scene of Rocky Mountain elk living in the valleys with delicate and realistic techniques. The relief is embedded in a simple wooden cabinet.
The male elk in the picture stands tall, looking majestically into the distance, and the deer behind him walk freely in the valley. The layered treatment of mountains, trees and deer shows a strong sense of space and natural atmosphere. After being polished and oxidized, the bronze surface presents a warm golden brown tone.
