1. Introduction of Confucius Garden Statue
Confucius (551–479 BCE) is generally considered by Western scholars to be one of the most influential figures in the history of East Asian thought. He lived during a period of frequent social upheaval in ancient China, and his core focus was not religious salvation, but rather personal virtue, family responsibility, education, and public order. His thought was later summarized as Confucianism and disseminated through texts such as the Analects. This Confucius Garden Statue, made of bronze, presents Confucius as an “ancient philosopher and teacher.”
