Armor Sculpture

This bronze armor statue is themed around the armor of ancient Chinese warriors. The overall design of  the Armor Sculpture is a hollow, vertical structure, showcasing the layers of traditional heavy armor through its breastplate, shoulder armor, neck guard, waist armor, and skirt armor. The breastplate features extensive use of fine chainmail and geometric patterns, complemented by wide plates and rivets on the outer sides, giving it a strong sense of protection. Animal head decorations adorn both shoulders, their heads protruding outwards, with horns, manes, and open mouths emphasizing the armor’s imposing presence. A heart-shaped openwork design is also present on the upper chest. The waist and hem combine layered plates, cloud patterns, and pendants, further enriching the vertical layers.

The sculpture is made of bronze, with a predominantly dark brown surface. Green patina is preserved in the grooves and edges of the decorations, enhancing the detail. The animal face decoration, wing-like structure, and tassel patterns in the center of the breastplate are the visual focal points, echoing the animal head shoulder guards on either side.
