Antoinette Perret was the first wife of Joseph Chinard, a French Neoclassical sculptor, whom he married in 1787. The Antoinette Perret Bust is a female portrait by Joseph Chinard, originally completed in 1803, and now in the collection of the Walters Art Museum in the United States. This Bust focuses on the upper body of a woman, with her head slightly turned to the side, her face serene, her nose straight, her lips naturally closed, and fine curls peeking out from her forehead.
She wears a hat decorated with coiled fabric, tied at the chin, and with intricate decorative carvings on the sides. The woman wears a high-waisted dress with a V-neck featuring continuous patterns, creating natural folds at the chest and waist. Long shawls draped over her shoulders, ending in delicate tassels, hang down to her sides. The sculpture rests on a square base, suitable for art galleries, studies, and classical-style interiors. Arturban Statue can customize various bust sculptures. Welcome to contact us for more details.
