This sculpture, themed around mermaids and marine life, employs a layered, composite composition. The upper mermaid stands upright atop waves and her tail, her arms raised high above a large seashell. Below, another mermaid is shown diving downwards, her body extending forward and downwards, her arms close to and embracing the seashell basin below, her tail curving upwards, giving the figures a dynamic, swimming-like quality.
