1. Introduction of Pierrot and Pierrette Statue
Bruno Zach (1891–1945) was an Austrian sculptor active in the early 20th century, particularly during the Art Deco period. His works often depict dancers, theatrical figures, female characters, and stage roles. This Pierrot and Pierrette Statue depicts male and female clown dancers from the European theatrical tradition.
The Pierrot, the male clown, is often characterized by melancholy, romance, and silence; the Pierrette, the female counterpart, is more graceful and agile. In the Pierrot sculpture and Pierrette Statue, the male clown supports himself on one leg, leaning back and supporting the female clown, who lies horizontally in his arms. Their eyes meet, forming an elegant pas de deux pose. | Step 6: Patina and wax surface | We will paint the color as the image the customer sent, then make wax surface. When finished statue, also I will take photos for your reference. After you are satisfied with all, I will arrange packing and shipment. |
