1. Introduction of Arab and Camel Sculpture
This sculpture is an early 20th-century Austrian cold-painted bronze Orientalist scene, depicting an Arab man resting with a reclining camel under a palm tree. The Arab and Camel Sculpture uses an irregular platform to simulate sand, with a tall palm tree standing in the center. The camel lies to one side, draped in a red and green painted saddle blanket; the man, wearing a headscarf and a green robe, sits beside the camel.
This work belongs to the Orientalist theme common in the Viennese cold-painted bronze tradition. After the bronze casting was completed, the surface was hand-painted with cold paint to bring out the rich colors of the camel’s saddle blanket, the figure’s clothing, and the palm leaves. The overall composition of the Arab and Camel Sculpture is compact and layered, with the figures, animals, and natural landscape echoing each other, creating a tranquil and leisurely desert oasis atmosphere. | Step 5: Repair, welding & Chasing | We will repair the hole of statue, then welding and chasing, which is the key step to make fine high quality statue. |
| Step 6: Patina and wax surface | We will paint the color as the image the customer sent, then make wax surface. When finished statue, also I will take photos for your reference. After you are satisfied with all, I will arrange packing and shipment. |
