This is a bronze standing female statue, depicted in a slow, forward-moving posture: her left foot steps slightly forward, her weight shifting naturally to create a subtle twisting motion. Her right arm is bent, holding a wide-mouthed water jug at her waist, the jug’s opening tilted outwards; her right hand hangs down, holding another water jug. The figure in the Woman with Vase Sculpture stands barefoot on an irregularly textured base, the toes clearly defined, enhancing the overall realism.
The clothing consists of a fitted bodice and long skirt, the bust and waist structure clearly outlined through a close-fitting treatment. Fabric drapes from the shoulders to the upper arms, creating horizontal folds, while the skirt cascades naturally with deep vertical folds, creating a layered effect at the knees and calves. From the back, one can see braids falling between the shoulder blades, the skirt tapering at the back before flaring out again, the details meticulously crafted.
The bronze surface exhibits dark brown and localized bluish-green oxidation. The front of the base features symmetrical decorative reliefs, giving the overall piece a more decorative feel, suitable for indoor or courtyard settings. This Woman with Vase Sculpture is inspired by the daily scene of “the woman fetching water” and is suitable for indoor display. The Water Maiden Statue is also commonly found in garden or fountain environments. Arturban Statue can customize various figure statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
