1. Introduction of Victory Angel Statue
André Allar was a famous French sculptor who was born in 1847 and died in 1926. He was a neoclassical sculptor who was dedicated to carving large public sculptures and monuments. His works often have a strong historical and cultural background, often combining classical mythology and symbolism, and showing characters and historical scenes with superb skills and delicate carving techniques. One of Allar’s most well-known works is theVictory Angel Statue on the Centennial Monument in Nice, France.
The Nike Angel Statue shows the image of a tall goddess of victory. The wings of the goddess are spread high, symbolizing freedom and victory. She wears a golden laurel wreath on her head, representing honor and glory.
