1.Introduction of the awakening seward johnson
This is the awakening seward johnson. The 22 meter masterpiece “Awakening” statue created by American sculptor John Seward
Johnson II is an impressive artwork. This statue depicts a giant clearly trapped underground, struggling to break free from its constraints.
The statue is composed of five independent sculptures buried underground, giving people a realistic illusion, as if a distressed giant is trying
to liberate itself from the ground. The left hand and right foot hardly extend out, while the bent left leg and knee extend into the air. The right
arm and hand extended further to the ground, as if desperately seeking freedom. At the center of the statue is a face with a thick beard, his
mouth wide open, as if screaming, and his whole body struggling to emerge from the ground. The artist infuses this expressive face with power
and emotion through meticulous carving and detail processing.
