1. Introduction of Red Crowned Crane Statue
The Red Crowned Crane (Grus japonensis) is one of the rarest cranes in the world. It is mainly distributed in Northeast China, the Russian Far East, the Korean Peninsula, Japan and other East Asian wetlands. They are named for their white feathers, black wings and bright red crowns. They are one of the largest and most elegant cranes. Red Crowned Cranes often live in swamps, shallow waters and grasslands. They are good at singing and dancing. In Eastern culture, they symbolize longevity, nobleness, loyalty and auspiciousness, and are known as “immortal cranes”.
