This set of bronze Qilin sculptures is based on the traditional Chinese auspicious beast, the Qilin, and is presented in pairs. The overall posture is seated, with forelimbs supporting the body vertically, hind limbs naturally bent, and a raised chest, giving the silhouette a stable and powerful appearance. The head incorporates features of traditional mythical beasts such as the dragon and deer, with antlers on the forehead, prominent brow ridges, deep-set eyes, and a broad snout and open mouth that enhances the sense of majesty. Numerous flame-like manes extend backward around the head and neck. Some Qi Lin Statues also include long, fine whiskers, enriching the facial features. The body surface is covered with neatly arranged scales, with different patterns used on the shoulders, chest, abdomen, and limbs.
The Qi Lin Statues have a robust torso, large legs, and clearly defined claws. The tail curls upward from the rear of the body, ending in a branching or flame-like structure, echoing the mane on the head. The two Qilins correspond in direction and details, creating a clear symmetrical order when placed in pairs. In traditional Chinese culture, the Qilin is often regarded as an auspicious beast, so large bronze Chinese Qilin Statues are often used on both sides of the entrances to courtyards, gates, manors, gardens, temples, and public buildings. Arturban Statue can customize various mythical animal statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
