1. Introduction of Nubian Bust
E. Guillemin usually refers to the French sculptor Émile-Coriolan-Hippolyte Guillemin (1841-1907), a leading figure in late 19th-century French Orientalist sculpture. Born in Paris, Guillemin received artistic training from his father and the sculptor Jean-Jules Salmson, and exhibited his work at the Paris Salon from 1870 onwards. He excelled at bronze figure sculpture, depicting classical figures, knights, Arabic figures, North African figures, and exotic portraits. This Nubian Bust is a bronze bust of a Nubian male.
The figure wears a turban and has a beard. His head is slightly raised and turned to one side, conveying a resolute and powerful expression. A dark patina is used to depict the face, shoulders, neck, and chest, while gold gilding highlights the turban and shoulder covering. The folds of the turban, the texture of the beard, the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and the muscles of the neck are all meticulously depicted. | Step 4: Casting | We will use advanced lost wax casting technology to cast bronze or brass. |
| Step 5: Repair, welding & Chasing | We will repair the hole of statue, then welding and chasing, which is the key step to make fine high quality statue. |
| Step 6: Patina and wax surface | We will paint the color as the image the customer sent, then make wax surface. When finished statue, also I will take photos for your reference. After you are satisfied with all, I will arrange packing and shipment. |
