1.Introduction of menelaus holding the body of patroclus
It is the sculpture of menelaus holding the body of patroclus. The former is the king of Sparta, while the latter is Patroclus, the most powerful general in the Spartan army. Later, his good brother Achilles killed Hector, which was regarded as revenge for him. The statue itself is a copy of a work of ancient Greece. It was found in Rome. Pope Pius V sent it to Archduke Cosimo I of Florence. It was initially at the southern end of the old bridge and later moved here.
