1. Introduction of Kong Baril

Richard Orlinski is a French contemporary artist whose works often feature animals such as gorillas, crocodiles, and bears, employing geometric facets and exaggerated volumes to create a distinctive visual language. Wild Kong Oil is one of the representative figures in his Wild Kong series, depicting a gorilla holding an oil drum aloft. The oil drum symbolizes oil and industrial pollution, while the powerful gorilla represents natural strength and environmental protection. This bronze Kong Baril sculpture is based on the classic Wild Kong Oil design, retaining the thematic characteristics while using bronze to create a more substantial structural feel.

The gorilla in the Richard Orlinski Statue has its legs apart, knees slightly bent, and arms outstretched to support the horizontal oil drum, conveying a strong upward tension. The head is depicted with an open mouth and a roaring expression, with prominent brow bones, nose, and jawline. The chest, shoulders, arms, and legs are all sculpted with large geometric facets, emphasizing its robust physique. The main body of this Kong Baril statue is made of bronze with a reddish-brown surface, while the oil drum is treated in a grayish-silver, clearly distinguishing it from the gorilla’s body. A black square base completes the sculpture. Arturban Statue can customize various replica statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
