1. Introduction of christian church bell
This Christian church bronze bell employs a traditional Western bell structure, with a narrower upper section and a wider lower section. The full shoulders gradually expand downwards to a wide mouth, creating a robust and stable proportion. A large hanging crown at the top facilitates connection to the bell frame or mechanical devices. The bell body of this christian church bell is cast in bronze. The most striking feature is the religious relief on the upper section, depicting a scene of figures within a pointed arch architectural framework at the center, flanked by kneeling figures, and surrounded by foliage and continuous patterns.
The middle section of the bell body is divided into multiple decorative bands, including scrollwork, pointed arches, and narrow circular borders. Below, Italian inscriptions and names are engraved, along with the inscription “A.D. MMXXIII,” corresponding to the year 2023, giving the bell both commemorative and custom-made attributes. The lower bell skirt gradually widens outwards, and the thick lip further emphasizes the weight of this large cast bell.
