1. Introduction of Buddha Happy Statue

Maitreya Buddha is one of the most important Bodhisattva figures in Buddhism, known in Sanskrit as Maitreya, and often referred to as the Future Buddha. Buddhist scriptures believe that Maitreya will attain Buddhahood in the future, thus closely associated with compassion, hope, and an ideal order for the future world. In Han Chinese Buddhism and folk culture, the image of Maitreya is often linked to the Laughing Buddha (Budai Heshang) of the Five Dynasties period, gradually evolving into a figure with a bare chest and belly, a rounded physique, and a benevolent smile, hence often called the “Laughing Buddha” or “Joyful Buddha.” This Buddha Happy Statue, made of bronze, presents a typical Laughing Buddha-like Maitreya image.

The figure sits cross-legged on a multi-tiered lotus pedestal, bare-chested and belly-exposed, with a smiling face, long ears, and a full overall physique. The right hand holds a gold ingot shape, while the other rests on a cloth bag. The main body of the figure is predominantly gold, with red and green painted decorations on the robe and lotus pedestal, and intricate patterns on the edges of the robe and base. This Buddha Happy Statue is suitable for use in temples, Buddhist halls, religious and cultural spaces, scenic spots, or indoor displays. This Happy Sitting Buddha Statue can also be collected and displayed as a work of Buddhist art. Arturban Statue can customize various buddha statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
