Asian Dragon Sculpture

This Bronze Chinese Dragon Sculpture is based on the traditional image of the Eastern dragon, expressing a dynamic sense of leaping and ascension through its spiraling, upward-reaching body structure. The dragon’s body in the Asian Dragon Sculpture is long and slender, forming a continuous “S” curve that extends upwards from the auspicious clouds at the base. Its head is raised high, its mouth open revealing its teeth. The horns, eyebrows, mane, long whiskers, and lower jaw whiskers are all exaggerated and clearly defined. The limbs extend from the sides of the body, with claws spread wide. The entire body is covered in dense scales, with continuous spines along the back, and the tail converges in a flame-like structure.

The sculpture is made of bronze, decorated with a combination of red and gold.
