1. Introduction of Angel of the Waters Sculpture
This large bronze fountain sculpture is modeled after the “Water Angel” atop the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, New York. The main figure of the Angel of the Waters Sculpture is a female angel with outstretched wings, dressed in a layered, flowing classical robe. She leans slightly forward, her wings spreading from her shoulders to the sides. One hand extends outward in a gesture of blessing and comfort, while the other holds a lily, symbolizing purity and hope. Her short, curly hair, dignified face, densely arranged feathers, and the undulating folds of her robe, flowing with her body, lend the figure both solemnity and a dynamic, graceful descent.
