1. Introduction of Lalouette Bronze Sculpture
Auguste Louis Lalouette (1826-1883) was a 19th-century French sculptor, whose works primarily feature bronze figures. He was adept at using delicate sculpting and vivid postures to express the characters’ personalities. His creations encompass classical figures as well as Italian commedia dell’arte and Orientalist themes. This Lalouette Bronze Sculpture depicts a young Oriental figure, dressed in a long robe and wearing a headscarf, holding a box in one hand, as if introducing the jewels and gems inside to a passerby.
The figure leans forward, mouth open, conveying a moment of hawking or speaking. The right hand is raised, displaying a small ornament, seemingly showing a piece of jewelry or gemstone to a passerby. The Lalouette Bronze Sculpture is rendered with a deep brown patina, and the details of the robe’s drape, the headscarf’s texture, the hand gesture, and the box are all exquisitely depicted. | Step 5: Repair, welding & Chasing | We will repair the hole of statue, then welding and chasing, which is the key step to make fine high quality statue. |
| Step 6: Patina and wax surface | We will paint the color as the image the customer sent, then make wax surface. When finished statue, also I will take photos for your reference. After you are satisfied with all, I will arrange packing and shipment. |
