Warmblood is not a single breed, but a type of sporting horse breed developed in Europe, primarily originating in Germany, the Netherlands, and Northern Europe. Its breeding goal was to combine the speed and agility of hot-blooded horses (such as Arabians and Thoroughbreds) with the strength and stability of cold-blooded horses, creating an ideal breed for riding and racing. Common representatives include the Hanoverian, Dutch Warmblood, and Oldenburger. This Bronze Galloping Horse sculpture uses the sporting physique of a Warmblood as a reference, presenting a dynamic posture in motion.
The horse’s forelegs are raised, its hind legs powerfully pushing off the ground, its body extending forward, creating a fluid rhythm of movement. The neck curves naturally upward, and the mane extends backward with the movement. The muscles of the torso are clearly defined but not overly exaggerated. The overall surface of the Bronze Galloping Horse is dark-colored, the outline is simple and clean, and the base is a single piece, providing stable support while maintaining dynamism, resulting in a form that combines realism and artistic generalization.
