The moose (Alces alces) is the sole species within the genus Alces of the deer family. Its origins trace back approximately two million years to the Early Pleistocene epoch, evolving from primitive deer species native to the Eurasian continent. During the Ice Age, these animals gradually expanded into high-latitude, frigid regions, developing physiological adaptations to withstand extreme cold: broad, palmate hooves facilitate movement across snowy terrain; thick fur and subcutaneous fat provide insulation against low temperatures; and their iconic, massive palmate antlers serve as the primary weapon for males during courtship rituals and territorial disputes. This bronze Moose Outdoor Sculpture captures the majestic presence of an adult male moose in a realistic, life-size (1:1) scale.
Crafted using the lost-wax bronze casting method, the Life Size Moose Statue features an antiqued finish that creates a warm bronze hue and a deep brown texture. It precisely replicates the intricate details of the moose’s shaggy neck mane, wrinkled hide, and the textured surface of its palmate antlers. The moose is depicted with its head held high—a posture exuding immense power—while its broad antlers spread outward with vigorous strength, and its sturdy limbs stand firmly upon a faux-rock base. This Moose Outdoor Sculpture is an ideal addition to the entrances of mountain resorts, visitor centers in national forest parks, courtyards of North American-style estates, outdoor adventure camps, or wildlife-themed exhibition halls. Arturban Statue can customize various deer statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
