Saint Michael is revered in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and is one of the few angelic figures to hold a high level of authority across religious traditions. In Jewish tradition, he is considered the protector of Israel; in the Christian scriptural and iconographic tradition, Saint Michael is the commander of the heavenly army, fighting against Satan and his evil forces, and undertaking the role of judgment and protection of souls; in Islam, he appears as “Michael” and is described as one of the four archangels who govern mercy and natural order. This vintage St. Michael Statue, originally located at the University of Bonn in Germany, depicts Saint Michael defeating Satan, who has transformed into a dragon.
The Statue Of St Michael And The Devil features a vintage gilded finish, exhibiting a typical European traditional religious sculpture style. Saint Michael’s right arm raises a flame-shaped sword with a wavy texture; his left arm holds a round shield inscribed with “QUIS UT DEUS”. The figure in the Vintage St Michael Statue wears a Roman-style breastplate, cape, and skirt armor, with detailed depictions of folds, rivets, and greaves. His wings are spread backward, with layers of overlapping feathers. Satan appears at the feet in the form of a dragon, with its head open and its body coiled, a classic “dragon is Satan” image pattern. Arturban Statue can customize various angel statues.
