1. Introduction of Statue of Silence
This sculpture is called “Silence” and is made of bronze. The overall shape is composed of a broken human face and hands. The Statue of Silence shows a person’s side face, staring forward with a calm expression, and the right hand is raised with the index finger in front of the lips, making a “hush” gesture, conveying the meaning of “keep quiet” or “silence is golden”. The upper and side of the face are broken in an irregular way, forming a strong visual tension, giving the work an abstract aesthetic in realism.
The surface of the sculpture is processed with bronze and imitation silver, with clear texture and uniform color, retaining the unique thickness and metallic luster of the bronze material.
