Alberto Giacometti is one of the most influential sculptors of the 20th century. He was born in Borgonovo, Switzerland in 1901 and grew up in a family with a strong artistic atmosphere. His father was the Impressionist painter Giovanni Giacometti. He went to Paris to study in his early years. Influenced by Cubism and Surrealism, he gradually developed a unique style. After World War II, Giacometti’s creation turned to existentialist art, focusing on expressing human loneliness, fragility and struggle for survival. This Alberto Giacometti Le Chien statue, is a representative animal-themed work created by Giacometti in 1951.
The Alberto Giacometti Bronze Sculpture shows a skinny dog walking with its head down, with slender limbs and heavy steps, and it seems that it may fall down at any time. The whole work restores the living state of animals in an abstract form, while reflecting the loneliness and helplessness of humans in the urban environment. The structure of the Alberto Giacometti Le Chien Statue is extremely simple, retaining the rough texture, giving people a desolate and solemn visual impact. Arturban Statue can customize various animal statues. Welcome to contact us for more details.
