1. Introduction of Greek-style marble figures
This sculpture is a pair of Greek-style marble figures, showing clear human structure and highly realistic carving skills. The male statue of the Classical Garden Ornaments on the left is naked, with clear muscle lines and a majestic look. His left hand is holding a large water jar, suggesting that he is a river god or a symbolic figure related to water. He sits steadily, with his right hand holding a ceremonial or decorative pillar, and the fabric on his body is clearly layered.
The female statue on the right is standing, with her right hand leaning on a pillar and her left hand holding a round drum with a handle. The edge is carved with a bell structure, which is more likely to be a ceremonial hand drum. Her body is soft, her expression is calm, and her skirt falls naturally, emphasizing the curves and movements of the female body.
