1.Introduction of old woman sculpture
Old woman sculpture with a girl shows the dialogue between the Australian historian and writer and her “young self”. The old who held up the exquisite umbrella in the hand of the sculpture played the role of her ancestor. She pointed to the book opened by the little girl and told her an interesting story. The little girl looked at her elder with childlike innocence and listened carefully to the content of the story. And Mrs. Mary Durack inherited the history of Western Australia through her drama Swan River legend (1976). This work is one of the earliest Park sculptures, designed by Charlie and Joansmith in 1996.
